Design and construction:
Océano Manantiales Norte faces challenges such as developing top-tier apartments with more design detail and higher-quality finishes than average. According to Arq. Federico Corbo, site manager at Océano Manantiales, Norte is accustomed to this level of finishing, although apartments with so much detail are unusual and more typical of a house. Corbo also points to the wave-shaped façade, with distinctive shapes formed on site during the concrete stage, as a challenge. According to Pérez, other challenges, though not new for Norte, include building on rocky terrain and constructing between two buildings.
The designer of Océano Manantiales, Matías Casaux Alsina, proposes architecture where the landscape, art, and interior design are present in every corner, with the rhythm of the sea reflected in the façade. The design, finishes, and quality of the materials are notable features of this project, which from 2025 will give Manantiales a more sophisticated touch without losing the area's rugged, natural aesthetic.
