The house draws attention with its dimensions. It has a living room ten meters high, creating a vast space that its occupants gradually furnish with domestic-scale pieces.
Layout:
- The house was conceived as several houses within one and consists of two spaces joined by a large, double-aspect glass hall, from which the surrounding countryside can be seen.
- On one side are the main bedroom and its bathroom, both spacious; on the other is the kitchen.
- Above these two sections is an upper level with guest rooms.
- At the center is the living-dining room, with large iron-and-glass windows that define the façade.
- The living-dining room and the swimming pool are the most frequented areas of the house, which is always open to friends.
Exterior:
Viewed from the outside, the house has a dominant, simple, symmetrical form. A garden with old, tall trees frames the property and gives it character.
Decoration:
Luis Rusconi says that spaciousness is essential to him and that he prefers uncluttered spaces. For advice, he asked Mimmi O’Connell, who had already worked on other houses in the region. The Argentine decorator, who has lived in London for many years, worked on the house’s interior design. She worked with the owners to choose furniture with clean, simple lines that would not overcrowd the rooms or interfere with the architecture. The brief was to use neutral furniture: sofas, consoles, and lamps in white and neutral tones, in a modern house that retained its local roots, expressed through stone, wood, and iron.

The house is highly modern, yet its architectural details bring unexpected warmth. The continuity of the spaces, the height of the walls, and the simplicity of the lines make this property special. The house welcomes and shelters its occupants; more than architecture, it is like a sculpture in which life unfolds.
